Hawk Acquires Bonstone Materials Hawk Research Laboratories, LLC (Hawk), one of the leading manufacturers of high-performance specialty coating systems for the surface repair and resurfacing industries, has announced that it has acquired Bonstone Materials. Bonstone has provided the stone industry with the high profile products for laminating, seaming, rodding, repairing/patching, bonding, sealing, crack repair, and anchoring for 60 years. Bonstone's dedication to service, support, technical expertise, and product quality is in line with Hawk's business values, making the Bonstone business a key addition to Hawk's expanding line of surface repair solutions. Mike Beckmann, Bonstone's long-time owner and CEO, will be retiring, however he has committed to serving as a consultant to Hawk during the transition. Paul Klees, Sales Manager, and the remainder of the Bonstone staff will remain in place and continue to operate business as usual, using Bonstone's existing manufacturing facilities to support and expand Bonstone's customers.
