Safic-Alcan Further Extends Partnership with Dow Polyurethanes in Nordics

Safic-Alcan, an international specialty chemicals distributor, is pleased to announce the extension of its partnership with Dow for the distribution of its polyurethane range. Drawing on the success of the existing agreement for Dow’s other product ranges, the extension will cover Nordics, effective immediately. The agreement includes such trademarks as HYPERLAST® , DURAMOULD® , VORASTAR® and DIPRANE® , which provide engineering polyurethane excellence for a wide range of applications like oil, water, gas transmission and storage and also engineering resins as well as adhesives, sealants and binders. “We are very pleased with the extension of our partnership with Dow Polyurethanes, just a year after reaching an agreement for EMEA for flocking adhesives,” said Philippe Combette, CEO of Safic-Alcan. “This comes also after a successful start in the UK in 2019, as well as an existing collaboration in France and Benelux,” concluded Philippe Combette. “The extension of this agreement is testament to the reliability and reach of Safic-Alcan’s network that enables us to offer our customers timely access to Dow’s range of world-class technologies,” said Francesca Pignagnoli, Commercial Director (Southern and Western Europe) Dow Polyurethanes.
